Integrated Builders completed, in less than six months, 50,000 s.f. data center for Network Plus in Braintree, MA. The project encompassed the completed renovation and upgrade of the company’s existing “Butler” building. The exterior components of the renovation included new roofing, side panels, a parking lot, a drainage system and extensive landscaping. The mechanical system upgrades included three, 400 ton air cooled chillers and 34 interior zones of cooling. The property’s electrical service required the installation of two 2,000 KVA transformers and two 4,000 amp busways together totaling 8,000 amps of new power. Two 2,000 KW/2,500 KVA diesel generators with two, 5,000 gallon tanks were also installed as well as four DC power plants and a fire alarm system.
