Integrated Builders Completes Ground-Up Construction for Clair Mercedes in Westwood, MA

Braintree, MA—A high-end automobile dealership, Clair Mercedes, has opened its doors for business on Route One in Westwood, Massachusetts.  The current facility, which was once used for cold storage and a clothing outlet, was renovated and expanded to house Mercedes’ top-of-the-line automobiles. Integrated Builders of Braintree, who had previously built two Porsche and Audi Dealerships, was chosen to build the new facility.  The Architect was Adams Associates of Belmont, and the Engineer was Q&W Associates of Hanover.

The dealership was designed to match and reflect the high-class image of the Mercedes name. The showroom area utilizes state of the art technology by way of lighting and special effects to display the cars. The sales and showroom areas were finished in polished granite, glass and stainless steel. The construction project encompassed the demolition of 40,000 square feet from the existing facility (preserving 20,000 square feet), and the addition of 40,000 square feet of new construction. Beyond the showroom, the dealership houses an extensive service area that includes a car wash and 32 bay areas, as well as a mezzanine level with additional office space and conference rooms.
