Integrated Builders Gets Sirtex medical ready for production

Braintree, MA—Integrated Builders has been awarded the contract to fit-up a 10,000 square foot office, clean room and laboratory work environment for Sirtex Medical at 16 Upton Drive in Wilmington, Massachusetts.  The design/build project was done in conjunction with SMRT Architects of Portland, Maine.

The primary objective of Sirtex Medical is to research, develop and commercialize effective treatments for liver cancer using novel small particle technology. The company believes the unmet demand for effective treatment of liver cancer provides an opportunity for its product, as well as its growth. With its corporate office in Australia, it is the Company’s hope and objective to use its new manufacturing facility to produce its tumor fighting drug for more timely distribution worldwide, especially in the United States.
