Black Rock Golf Community Opens
 in Hingham, MA 

Integrated Builders Completes Recreational Center and Supporting Utilities

Braintree, MA—South Shore’s newest private golf club, Black Rock Golf Community, recently opened its 18-hole course and first-class Recreational Center in time to capture the 2002 season. The master plan for this multi-use golf community on Ward Street in Hingham, Massachusetts also includes town homes, single-family homes, and a 43,000 square foot Club House which broke ground in late June, 2002.  Integrated Builders of Braintree is pleased to have been chosen by Black Rock Development, LP as the general contractor/construction manager for the project.  Architectural firm, SMRT of South Portland, Maine was responsible for the Recreational Center, while CBT Architects of Boston, MA designed the Club House.

In order to facilitate the development plans at Black Rock, Integrated Builders initially embarked on the Community’s sewage treatment plant, utilities and roadwork.  Next, Integrated managed the construction of the Club’s 9,000 square foot Recreation Facility which features a swimming pool, tennis courts, locker rooms and fitness center, as well as a children’s activity area. The Club House is scheduled for completion in time for the 2003 season.
