Integrated Builders Completes new design center for AMD in
Boxborough, MA

Braintree, MA— Advanced Micro Devices’ (AMD) representative, The Staubach Company of Boston, chose Integrated Builders to complete its new design center at 90 Central Street in Boxborough, Massachusetts. The 57,000 square foot space has been transformed to include a new data center complete with raised floor computer rooms with air-conditioning units, humidification, static control, leak detection and UPS systems. The project also included three IT rooms, QA/QC, engineering labs, videoconference rooms and offices for over 200 employees. The architect for the project was Gorman Richardson Architects of Hopkinton. 

Founded in 1969, AMD supplies integrated circuits for PCs, networked computers and communications systems. It has manufacturing plants in the United States, Europe, Japan, and Asia.  The new design center will be responsible for developing server and HyperTransport™ interconnect solutions supporting AMD's Computation Products Group.
