Integrated Builders to perform fit-up for aspect software

Braintree , MA — Integrated Builders has been awarded the contract to renovate 127,531 square feet of space on a portion of the first and the entire second floor for Aspect Software located at 300 Apollo Drive in Chelmsford, MA. Integrated Builders was hired to perform preconstruction services for this fast track project. To accomplish the work on a 14 week schedule, the project was divided into 4 separate areas with the idea of completing each phase of the project at the same time. There was no phased construction. The 15,000 s.f. Data Center and Test Lab was completed using a completely different set of subcontractors. At one point there were over 140 people working on this project in order to meet the schedule. Working with the architect Spagnolo Gisness & Associates and the MEP engineer Engineered Systems Inc, the project was delivered on time for a March 1 move in date.

Integrated Builders had previously worked with the owner to do the base building portion of this project. That work included a complete interior demolition, a new roof, new roof top mounted VAV HVAC units renovated bathrooms, a new lobby and a work out facility. Using all this as a platform, Integrated built a new corporate location for Aspect Software including cubicle spaces, offices, conference rooms, and an executive area. The project included the aforementioned Data Center and Test Lab which was cooled with Liebert Dry Coolers. Power was provided through UPS systems and bus duct. An existing generator was utilized in the space as well, along with a new Pre Action Sprinkler System. Integrated Builders also built out the phone and data system including all cable tray, wire, racks and termination.
