Integrated Builders to perform another
tenant fit-up for philips lifeline

Braintree , MA — Integrated Builders has been awarded Philips Lifeline’s tenant fit-up project in Framingham, MA which involves adding a new staircase from the 3rd floor to the 2nd floor and renovation work on the 3rd floor for 11,600 square feet. As an addition to their existing space, Integrated Builders worked with the architect DiMella Shaffer and the engineer WBA Associates to incorporate this new space into the existing infrastructure. This space was tied into the existing data center which Integrated Builders completed 4 years ago and the UPS and generator power was tied in also. Well designed high end conference rooms and offices were included with unique glass walls and shelves that had special back lighting.

The new interconnecting stairwell between the second and third floors is highlighted by stainless steel railings with glass walled panels. A combination of maple and carpet are used on the treads and risers along with lighting hidden behind some of the treads. The walls around the stairs use a number of different materials including maple, glass, stainless steel rails and a flat screen plasma TV.  Al l the demolition and structural steel work to create the frame of the stairs was completed during off hours. Sean Fogarty is the Project Manger and Bob Hanley is the Superintendent.
